Check it out. I recently started a record label with my good friend Reece, better known as Uncle Reece. Weve been hammering away on his album for a minute now and its coming out amazing. If you know me, you know what I am about; God and the people He loves. My brother Reece is on the same thing. We believe this album has the potential to impact this culture. The quality is there, the creativity is there, the message is there, and the anointing is there. Ive made a decision to invest everything in this project because one, I believe its what God would have me to do and two, because I see hopeless people everyday who are just waiting on one word to change their entire reality. Reece is unafraid, unashamed, and he is the perfect type of “out the box” for the situation at hand. The situation is this, our kids are drifting off to never never land by the droves. Their being blinded with lies and its going to take something radical. We wouldnt dare ask for you to contribute to something we dont believe in ourselves. At this point we are all the way in. I kindly ask that you would visit the page below for more detailed information on this Project. If you are moved to give to this project, please do. Thank You. -Jay Harris http://www.indiegogo.com/unclereece

China Censors ‘Men in Black 3’ for Referring to Chinese Censorship

A few weeks ago we were thinking about Chinese censorship of American movies, wondering if the practice will increase as China’s movie market opens up, and now today we hear word of the latest example of government meddling. The Chinese censors have gotten to Men in Black 3, a big hit in the movie-mad nation, possibly because they were concerned about perceived references to… censorship.

“Deliberately late pizza deliveries raise awareness of world hunger and money for charity.”

The pizza comes late, they’re told about world hunger, the pizza is free, and the customer can donate. So far the charity has collected over 50 tons of food for donation. Awesome.

“4. Consistently Find Your Identity in Christ, Not in Your Preaching

The gospel you preach must define you. You need to taste it to know that it is good. What else will sustain you through your first 100 sermons, which are not likely to be very good?

You must keep preaching the gospel to your own heart so that you do not get your identity from preaching. You cannot rise or fall on evaluations of your performance. If you feel good when people complement your sermons but feel terrible when you think you’ve dropped the ball, preaching itself may be functioning as an idol.

Ultimately, we need to work towards the goal that Paul speaks about in 1 Timothy 4:10: “For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God”—-not on our preaching, sermons, or ministry.”

We are a City No Longer Deserted.

Pass through, pass through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people.
Build up, build up the highway!
    Remove the stones.
Raise a banner for the nations.

The Lord has made proclamation
to the ends of the earth:
“Say to Daughter Zion,
    ‘See, your Savior comes!
See, his reward is with him,
    and his recompense accompanies him.’”
They will be called the Holy People,
    the Redeemed of the Lord;
and you will be called Sought After,
    the City No Longer Deserted.
